A home for a family that is well traveled, well read, and who is just as at home in the slow pace of a small country town in California as a fast paced global city like Istanbul. The couple has been steeped in Moorish Culture and History, but also has a penchant for English flair. Pink, terra cotta and the occasional wine tone became the leading actors against a backdrop of California oak tones and olive greens. We designed custom built ins to showcase their notable collection of Mediteranean ephemera, extensive book collections, and curios that have been acquired during their travels.
